James F. Sullivan
James F. Sullivan, age 52, of Carmi, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at his home. He was born February 20, 1958, in Carmi, the son of James and Frances (Brandon) Sullivan. He was an oilfield worker for many years. He married Lora James March 3, 2000, in Crossville, and she survives.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; two sons, Brian Sullivan of Carmi, and Michael Sullivan of Crossville; two daughters, Chrissy Sullivan of Crossville, and Amber Sullivan of Carmi; a step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Shawn and Jenifer Raigner of Carmi; a sister, Janet Sullivan-Burton of Mt. Vernon, IL; two grandchildren Nelanie Sullivan and Easton Sullivan both of Carmi; five step-grandchildren, Shawn E. Raigner Jr., Bryan J. Raigner, Keylea J. Raigner, Autumn N. Raigner, and Sherry R. Stinson; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, James; and two brothers, Jeffrey “Moe” and Harold “Dink” Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2011, at 2:00 pm, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of service in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Enfield Cemetery.
