Carol S. Pollard
Carol S. Pollard, age 71, of Maunie, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville. She was born September 11, 1940, in Maunie, the daughter of Donald and Katherine Earlene (Hurst) Youngman. She married Billy C. Pollard in August of 1958, and he preceded her in death April 2, 2008.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Donna Pollard and Don and Theresa Pollard, all of Maunie; two daughters, Becky Pollard of Maunie, and Christal Youngman of Maunie; a sister, Kathy Evans of Maunie; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2012, at 1:00 pm, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Marshall Ferry Cemetery in Rising Sun.
