Clara B. Johnson
Clara B. Johnson, age 85, formerly of Norris City, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Cypress Point Skilled Car Nursing Home in Dexter, MO. She was born September 14, 1926 in Norris City, the daughter of Daniel Eli and Artha Alta (Smith) Young. She married Charles W. Johnson in Carmi on September 14, 1944. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1990. Mrs. Johnson was a bus driver for Malden School in Malden, MO. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter, MO.
She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Adams of Malden, MO, and Donna Hubbard of Poplar Bluff, MO; eight grandchildren, Tina Cox of Dexter, MO, Angela Hawley of Medina, TN,
Korey Adams of Malden, MO, Bradley White of North Carolina, Reva Eubanks of South Carolina, Lori Holland of Mobile, AL, Corey Hubbard of Bristol, VA, and Jonathan Hubbard of Bonifay, FL; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; a son-in-law, Dan Adams; two sisters, Victoria Young and Sallie Vaughan; three brothers, Victor Young, Willard Young, and Clark Young.
