Brenda K. Dunn
Brenda K. Dunn, age 56, of Enfield, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at her home. She was born June 19, 1954, in Laurel County, KY, the daughter of Tony Hodges and Lola Parsons. Brenda was a registered nurse who worked at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.She is survived by her significant other, Larry Hart; two daughters and a son-in-law, Susie and Roger Devoy of Enfield, and Amy Duncan of Norris City; a son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Christine Duncan of Nashville, TN; her mother, Lola Parsons; six grandchildren and their spouses, Elijah Devoy and his fiancee Ashlea Tucker, Rebecca and Ryan Duran, Harley “Hoot” Devoy, Shianne Taylor Duncan, Cody Hart, and Jaspar Hart; a great-grandchild, Kenley Devoy; two sisters, Debbie Parsons, and Joyce Mercer; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Sharon Parsons of Kentucky; her step-mother, Kathy Hodges; and her extended family, Dana Smith, Jeanie Palmiter, Ruth Hart, Roger Hart, Stan Hart, Larry “Doodle” Hart, and Jenny Hart.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tony Hodges; a step-dad, James Parsons; a son, James C. Duncan; a brother, Ronald Hodges; a great-grandmother, Minnie Hodges; and an aunt, Alla Lee Winkle.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 17, 2011, at 2:30 pm, at Enfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activities Department of the Skilled Care Unit at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Arrangements by Stendeback Family Funeral Home of Enfield.
