Lillie H. Conner
Lillie H. Conner, age 90, of Kentucky, formerly of Carmi, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011, at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, Kentucky. She was born October 16, 1920 in Livingston, TN, the daughter of Eugene and Emma (Flowers) Daniels. She married Loyd L. Conner October 22, 1938 and he preceded her in death August 2, 2006. Lillie worked at Ainsbrook Corpration in Carmi as an examiner and also cleaned homes for others.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Eugene and Winnie Conner of Henderson, KY; one brother, Emerson Daniel of Norris City; two sisters, Ruth Burns of Washington, and Jeanetta McLean of Mt. Carmel, IL; four grandchildren, Kenny Ray Conner of FL, Sieglinde Williams, Melinda Baker and Misty Fleming, all of Henderson, KY; four great-grandchildren, Max Baker, Corey Williams, Malia Baker, and Thomas Fleming, all of Henderson, KY; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Maxine Reese of Carmi.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loyd, of 68 years; and two sons, L. Kenny Conner, and an infant, Raymond Conner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi. Visitation will be held Saturday, from 1:00 pm until service time.
