Mary L. Duckworth Church, 81 died in Tinley Park, IL. She was born April 15, 1930 in White County, the daughter of John and Lucille (Hendershott) Duckworth. She married Gilbert Glen Church and he preceded her in death.
Mary and her family grew up in Enfield and attended school there. She and her husband moved to the Tinley Park area. She returned often to visit family and always came home for Mule Days.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joann Church of Elkhart, IN; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and John Abraham and Connie and Jerry Lampp all of Tinley Park; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Nina Duckworth of Maunie and Bill and Diane Duckworth of Ridgeway and one sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Gus Duvall of Enfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield.
