Wanda VanPaassen
Wanda VanPaassen, age 84 of Enfield, died Saturday June 25, 2010 at her home.She was born January 12, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, IL the daughter of John and Ruby (Huff) Miller. She was married Gerald VanPaassen.
Wanda had worked for the Chicago Police Department for many years. She and her husband trained German Shepard dogs. She attended the Enfield General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Gerald; two sons, Thomas VanPaassen of Franklin Park, IL and Leonard VanPaassen of Round Lake Beach; one brother, John Miller of Albany, NY; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra; and one brother, Michael Miller.
Private Services will be held by the family. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield is in charge of arrangements.
